My Mum and I fell in love with a property back in March time. It's nothing too special, to be honest there are property 100+ other houses exactly the same in the local area, but to us it was special. As soon as we walked in the door the large hallway was screaming out for a pram to be stored there (I was 8 months pregnant with my first child) as we walked through the house we both saw its potential as a family home with a double width plot providing an excellent garden and a large tree providing shade.
Fast forward 3 months and we are now in the process of ripping out the dirty old kitchen, stripping the nicotine stained wallpaper and getting quotes for re-wiring and a full central heating system to replace the old warm air that only heated 2 rooms!
Most people would struggle to see why we fell in love, yet somehow it still seems perfect to us. So here are some "before" photographs. Fingers crossed our mortgage lender will allow us to rent out our 100% mortgaged negative equity flat so that we can move into our newly renovated 3 bedroom end terrace with large garden....
